History
Red Earth Theatre (RET) provides a platform to inspire and nurture many voices through live performance,
and encourages dialogueexploring the human experience in our diverse communities.
Founded in 2013, and based in Northern Arizona, the Verde Valley-Cottonwood-Sedona region, RET is a Nomadic group working with many partners/collaborators, in many venues and locations often creating theatre spaces where none existed.
From September 2013-Dec 2024: Live Productions:
9 original full-length productions, 8 published full-length productions, 17 other forms of performance from readings to evenings of original one acts, and 17 live performances at Tlaquepaque before the pandemic and another 6 afterwards.
From April 2020: online during the pandemic:
9 ‘zoom’ play readings, 6 outdoor/streamed site-specific shows and the annual November ‘Gratitude Show”, a spectacular ‘A Christmas Carol’ using multiple mediums, and the February ‘Shining Love’ show online. (Available on the Red Earth You Tube Channel)
